Getting an online car insurance quote
We know it’s boring shopping around for car insurance, so we’ve worked hard to make sure getting an online car insurance quote at churchill.com is as quick and easy as it can be!
While online insurance forms are easy to fill in, it’s difficult to cover all possible circumstances and criteria so we have to make some assumptions about you and the cover you need. Before you start your online car insurance quote, you’ll have the chance to read our assumptions - if there are any criteria you cannot meet, please give call us because we may still be able to provide a quote over the phone.
To complete your online car insurance quote, you’ll need to know:
-
The make, model and year of manufacture of your car
-
Your annual mileage (an estimate will do)
-
Your vehicle value (again, we just need an estimate)
-
The make and model of any security alarm (unless factory fitted as standard)
-
The name, date of birth and occupations of all named drivers
-
How many years No Claims Discount you have
-
The date you would like the policy to start
And if you or any of the named drivers have any driving convictions, such as speeding, you’ll also need to know:
-
The offence code and dates of any driving convictions in the last 5 years
-
Details and dates of motor claims in the last 3 years for all drivers
If you’re happy with your online car insurance quote, and you’d like to buy your policy online, you’ll need:
-
The vehicle registration number
-
Your credit card, debit card or bank account details
We’ll put your policy documents in the post, and all you need to do is send your proof of No Claims Discount to us at: Churchill Insurance Company Limited, Churchill Court, Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1DP.
