Checklist for your home insurance quote
Getting a home insurance quote from Churchill is quick and easy, but before you start, make sure you have the following information to hand:
-
The period your home was built in (e.g. 1970s)
-
The number of years you’ve had a home insurance policy without making a claim. Churchill uses this information to calculate your No Claim Discount, which is included in your home insurance quote (not all home insurance companies offer a discount)
-
The names of any joint owners or mortgage lender (if applicable)
But you don’t need to spend ages working out the value of all your contents or finding out the rebuild value of your home. Your Churchill home insurance quote will automatically include up to £500k buildings cover and £50k contents over, which is plenty for most people.
And if you’re shopping around for a home insurance quote, always make sure you compare the cover and benefits as well as the premium. What may seem like a great price could turn out to be a false economy if it doesn’t offer the cover you need.
Churchill Home Insurance cover is underwritten by Churchill Insurance Company Limited. Churchill Insurance Company Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
